At the end of term 3 we started working on the school production. part in the school production was making a lantern called a dyia there like candles but they use oil instead of wax then we painted them with patterns.

For the performance part the dyia group walked on stage holding the dyias then we stood there for a bit until the lights came down on one person.

The rise value I show was success for doing the  production and making the dyia.

We did cantamaths  for the first four weeks of the term.

me and calib made a model of different types of moving bridges like the Transporter bridge and the lift bridge. I also made a bridge that could hold my weight but then I tried  it again but it broke because I put too much weight on it too fast.

The maths that it involves is geometry because the bridges have triangles that are stronger then just straight lines.

This week we had tech like every week on Thursday this week was a bit different because we got to make stickers out of villein I made a MTG sticker MTG is this card game.

How we made it was first we cut out our sticker with the machine then we peeled off the excess vinyl  and stuck it on our box.

I also finished my box I’m pretty happy with my box it has a false base and a pop off lid I also made a little guy out of a block of wood, nails and a stick thing the little guy is pretty cute and cool now all my friend what one and my sister.

Next tech i’m going to make a bunch of wood guys.

The rise value I used was success because I finished my box and made a cool wood guy.

This week we had tech I finished my box that I have been making over the term now I’m putting a vinyl sticker on my box. I did a magic the gathering sticker.

How we did it was first we went on this software called cut studio. Then we found a picture on Google and copied the picture into the software but some of the computers didn’t connect to the cuter, lucky the computer we were using did connect so we got to cut our sticker.

So next time I will be able to put the sticker on my box. The things I found challenging was cut the I I was making because it’s hard to make the bit that goes in is hard to do on a stroll saw.

The rise value I showed success because I made a sticker.

This week we had the last action stations I choose school monster attack. it’s when you draw a monster then they scan it.

Then we went to out to take some photos then we put our monster in the image.

This week we had tech like every Thursday.

This week we screwed the pieces of wood together that we cut last week. Some kids screwed the screws too deep on an angle and the screw got stuck, luckily it did not happen to me because it would be bad.

Another thing that happened is me and Hunter did our first choice and challenge, choice and challenge is when the seniors go to the juniors and do fun stuff.  We did rods. Rods are these things that are different lengths that you can use to stack and build towers with. I found it easy even though I thought it would be hard.

Next time we might do a challenge like who can build the tallest tower.

This week we had tech it was really fun because we had CRT which is when different teachers come in and do fun stuff like PE, art and tech stuff .

So we had tech and CRT but what I did for tech is wood work so we had to make a plan for the box we’re making then we showed it to the tech teacher then we got our pine.

But the teacher gave me a really lite peas of pine because I think it’s better if you get a titter gran so it is sturdier  and better.

Back to making the box once we got the pine we measured the wood and cut it then the lesion finished which was sad.

We have been setting our self goals. My goal is to run around the bike track at least once because I can’t run around the bike track. But I will probably bring my togs next time, so my swimming goal is to do one lap of freestyle without stopping.

This week we went to tech it was fun because it was the first tech I did wood work it was fun we are making spachlers but it was really easy because I do wood work at home. We got to use the scroll saw and that was fun.

A tough moment I faced was at wood work all the sanders had different on and off switchers and that was annoying.

This week I became a year 7 it is much better in my new class one high light of my week was mahi a tahi because it’s fun.

One of the challenging was that when I had to link the mahi a tahi slide to the turn in sheet because every one was on the spreed sheet a and my chrome book COULD NOT hand that at all so that was annoying.

I’m looking forward to camp and we have been doing lots of planing in class.
